Brown Onion Sauce

Brown Onion Sauce
1. Margarine, oil or butter 25g
2. Sliced onion, 100g
3. Demi-glace or reduced stock ½ pt
1. Melt the fat or oil in a Sauteuse
2. Add the onions, cover with a lid
3. Cool gently until tender
4. Remove the lid and color lightly
5. Add the demi-glace. Simmer for 5-10 minutes
6. Skin and correct the seasoning . Now that is ready, you can serve with burgers, fried liver or sausage
