1. Self rising flour, 200g
2. Baking powder, 5g
3. Pinch salt
4. Butter or margarine, 50g
5. Caster sugar, 50g
6. Milk or water,, 95ml
1. Sieve the flour, baking powder and salt, rub in the fat to a sandy texture
2. Make a well in the center, add sugar and liquid
3. Dissolve the sugar in the liquid, slowly incorporate the flour
4. Mix lightly, roll out rounds, 1cm thick
5. Place on a grease baking sheet cut across half way through the rounds with a large knife
6. Milk wash and bake at 200 Degree C, for 15 to 20 minutes
