WHAT IS WINDOW?
Window is an operating system that enables you to manage the task you perform on your computer. Windows has a graphical user interface (GUI) in which the element of your computer’s hardware and software are represented by visual picture on your screen. Example window recycle bin or Trash Can is a space on your computer where deleted file remain for a period of time after you deleted them from you computer. Windows uses a trash-can with a recycle symbol to represent the recycle bin on the window desktop.
This is your computer desktop; here you program to read mail, play game: you can also come to log off or shut down your computer too. If you want a quick way to get to your frequently used programs, WEB page and documents: you can create short cut to them and place them on the large blue area of the screen: you can also save scraps of documents for easy access also when you work with programs (such as Microsoft word and control panel) one thing you need to do is to quickly start your document, your start button is your entry point, it is located at your bar across the bottom of your screen, called the taskbar. The task bar shows you what programs you have currently open. Each one has a button you can click to switch to it immediately.
You can also quickly tell time with the handy clock, adjust the volume on your speakers (if your computer has sound card) and change a few other settings by using the other items on the task bar.
THE MOUSE BUTTONS
On top of your mouse, there are at least two buttons; a mouse usually had a right and left mouse button. In windows, you use the mouse button to select items, display menus and information, moves object and select text.
To use the mouse, you need to understand few terms.
