Ogbono Soup

Ogbono Soup
1. Fresh meat, (dry meat or fish ) cut to pieces.
2. Dried fish, remove the bones and wash
3. 2 tablespoons of grinded Cray fish
4. 1 or ½ tablespoon of grinded pepper
5. 1 Tomato cup of palm oil
6. ½ or 1 cup of dry and grinded ogbono
7. 2 cubes or 1 cube of magi
8. ½ tablespoon of salt
9. Chopped pumpkin leaf
1. Par boil meat with little salt for 10 minutes
2. Put water on fire, from the water (boiled) put little gently on the grinded ogbono and stir to avoid lumps
3. Add the palm oil in the boiling water and allow for 2 minutes
4. Now put the Ogbono and stir, after 5 minutes, add meat and fish . Allow to boil well before adding the rest ingredients except the pumpkin leaf
5. Allow the mixture to boil for 20 to 30 minutes before adding the pumpkin leaf. Allow for 5 minutes. Your Ogbono soup is ready. The soup is best suitable for pounded yam, eba and fofo
